Island living at its finest, this casual Kailua beachfront home is located on the Windward side of Oahu, 30 minutes from Honolulu and approximately 1 mile from the center of Kailua Town. Enjoy spectacular sunrises over Kailua Bay, the scenic Ko'olau Mountain Range and outlying islands right from the front lanai. The home enjoys cool breezes that come off the ocean, a large open floor plan, spacious guest rooms and an expansive ocean front, manicured lawn with swaying palm trees and the ocean beyond. Guests can enjoy swimming, body surfing, paddling and fishing right from the backyard! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed for a family feast, or Kailua Town is just a 5 minute drive with its' myriad of restaurants to choose from.

The home has 4 bedrooms - all with ensuite bath and an additional sleeping arrangement in one of two living spaces. Configuration is as follows:

  We had a great stay at this house. You can walk right out to the beach, across the lovely lawn. The windward breezes keep the house cool, and it has a very fully supplied kitchen and also beach equipment. Town is just a few minutes away, but at the house you feel you are in a lovely rural setting.

  Excellent private beach front property on Kailua Beach. Very nicely appointed and furnished . Fully equipped kitchen, clean, modern appliances. Plenty of items for beach (umbrellas, beach chairs, boogie boards, fishing gear). Optional shopping service was excellent as panty was full of the items I had ordered before arriving.

  Kailua Kai was perfect for our family of four. More than enough room for everyone to spread out. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was a huge plus. We really appreciated that the house was fully stocked with everything we needed for our week-long stay - e.g., hand soap, premium shampoo & conditioner, tissue, toilet paper, laundry detergent, beach towels, beach gear, etc. They even provided a large gift basket of treats. The only thing we really had to buy once we arrived was water and food.
  
  Keep in mind that there is no air conditioning in the house. However, there are fans in every room and there is a constant seabreeze so we just opened up the windows everyday and felt perfectly comfortable.
  
  Of course the best part of the house is the location. It's tucked away at the end of a private driveway so it's very secluded and quiet. We enjoyed the beach everyday and the kids loved to be able to just walk across the backyard and go boogie boarding. Except for July 4th, the beach was never crowded. A big highlight was that we got to enjoy front row seats to the Kailua July 4th fireworks from the comfort of our backyard. The house is also conveniently located, making trips to Honolulu/Waikiki and the North Shore very easy.
  
  We really enjoyed our time at Kailua Kai and are already planning our return. Booking and communication with the company and house manager were super easy. We're looking forward to visiting this slice of paradise again!

  It is the best location for sure on Kailua Beach! The photos really capture the house and the beauty of the property.
  
  The property is what Hawaiian living is about - beautiful expansive beach, perfect beach shade spot under the trees, gorgeous view of the bay for watching kite boarders and wind surfers, great expansive lawn for kids of all ages, listening to the waves from the house all day and night.
  
  We loved the sunrises in the morning while enjoying our coffee on the beach, watching the day begin with a quick walk before breakfast - just stunning! Sunsets beautiful, too as light on the water and islands change color - mountains to the west a really pretty backdrop when looking back at the house. Great spot for nice long walks on the beach. Easy walk to Kailua Beach Park and downtown area from the house, too.
  
  The property was perfect for my husband and I, our son and his family. Each bedroom with its own bathroom and very clean, comfortable beds. Kitchen well appointed, nice open living areas but truly you can't beat the beach. Beach towels, chairs and toys provided, too.
  
  Property manager was great to work with - answered questions promptly and made sure we were well taken care of. Lovely welcome information and basket, too.
  
  It was truly a relaxing vacation and one we'll remember for a long time! We hope to be back soon. Mahalo!

  The location of the property allows you to escape from the stresses of life. As you walk into the property and see the beautifully manicured lawn with the picturesque ocean in front of you, the ambiance allows you to let go and relax immediately. We enjoyed our stay at the property. With its fully equipped kitchen and awesome lanais, we were able to enjoy home cooked meals. After the day’s excursion, coming home and being able to walk and skip to the ocean was refreshing. The house was equipped with beach toys including floaters, boogie boards and beach chairs/towels. During our stay, there was some construction next door but the workers were respectful of our privacy. Also, the spiral staircase was a potential hazard due to its sharp edges so we hung our Hawaiian dresses around the railing to remind us to avoid standing up from under the steps. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will rent the house again.

  Coming from the midwest we would have been happy with just sunny weather, but this beautiful home was a warm and peaceful place to enjoy for 8 glorious days. Location, location, location, was the highlight to be steps from the beach and minutes to shopping and my fav, “plate lunch”. For 4 couples, each room with its own on suite bathroom and well stocked accessories throughout the house made it just like home. The kitchen was a chef’s delight with everything needed for preparing meals and enjoying it out on the lanai with the sound of the waves. The pictures do the home justice physically, but feeling at home instantly can’t be described. Thank you to our gracious and even accommodating hosts, as our plans got extended 2 days - Steven and Barbea were quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be planning another trip to this haven in Kailua.

  You can't ask for much more than this. A lovely, well-stocked home right along the beautiful Kailua beach. All the beach things you could want (towels, chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, boogie boards). Well stocked kitchen for your cooking needs. Clean with updated furnishings, property is well maintained. Was a nice bonus to have the big lawn out back that provided a nice safe place for kids to play and privacy from beach goers. Best of all, the beach is just steps away. Constant breeze kept the house very comfortable, just needed to close the ocean facing windows/doors when it was raining. View from the upstairs loft is gorgeous. Walkable to local market and short drive into town. Definitely hope to be back someday. Only negative was that the cleaning crew showed up just before the check-out time so felt a little rushed getting out.

  This property is great and better than expected. Access to Kailua Beach couldn’t have been better. We arrived late and really appreciated having snacks provided. We enjoyed the early morning peacefulness sitting on the beach with our coffee and watching the few epileptic walking by. We were close to Whole Foods so had fresh fish cooked on the new gas grill on the back patio. Kids spent hours on boogie boards provided. Just a great experience for our whole family of 7.

  Loved this house! Location mid beach on the best beach on Oahu. The bedrooms were very nice, each with its own bathroom. There was a grill and table mauka side that was so nice. The dining table accommodated all 8 staying. Loved the whole house. They provided boogie boards, games, chairs, beach towels- everything one needs! The lawn Kai side was phenomenal.
